I has been a pretty long time since I updated this blog....within the last 6-7 months lots of new things have happened both in the personal and professional front...
Most of them good and a few setbacks....throughout this time Rocky Balboa's phrase has me kept me moving forward....So there...just wanted to reflect on this quote today
"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done! "
One of my life time ambitions is to practice boxing over that building in the US ( u know which one I mean) :)

The promises of a Monday
Being an entrpreneur for the past one year...monday is always the most vibrant day of a week (at least for me)...
you tend to have
Promises made on your daily habits (Like from this monday I am gonna wake up at 6.00 do my yoga pooja and all that)
Calls to be made and received from clients
Lots of items in your "Things to do List"
Overall every monday starts with a bang.....
Ok guys blogging was one of the item in today's to-do list I have done that...now am moving on....

20:20 not your pure cricket
Yesterday saw the 20:20 match between SA anf WI....Although the match opened with much fanfare and excitement it excitement died down as it progressed....It lacked certain things which is associated with a typical ODI
1) the lack of inportance for strategy (Every guy has to just come and wield his willow ...nothing more ...nothing less)
2) Every bowler is the same : any guy ranging from the typical galli cricketer to Shaun Pollock is the same...irrespective of whether it is good length or short ball..the ball is hit for a six....This takes the essence out of the game.....which always has a 50:50 between the bat and the ball
4) At the end of the day....everything is left to chance....No respect for : batting talent...skill...strategy ...bowling talent...fielding ....Cricket as such...it is just entertainment which in my view is bull shit...
In addition the dance made by the cheer leaders was sure-shot purveying...felt bad that ICC has leaned to such low levels
Uncertainty is the most impotant thing abt cricket....and that clearly lacks in 20:20.....
So Long Live Cricket.....ICC has dug its own grave...
